Art criticism

…It is then a painting that, without intellectualistic implications, without literary incrustations, with immediacy, communicates its message to the observer. A painting, you could say, that makes the tradition of Italian landscape art fashionable again, in its way, and maybe just for this loved and felt, precisely for this enjoyed also by the non-expert. It is not an irrelevant goal for an artist. Ercole Frigoli reached it through a long work in the sign of love, of thought, of commitment. (Carlo Munari)

…After so many as 12 years spent in Argentina, perfectioning with valued painters Repetto and Puig, he was able to filter his impressions through a temperament that, despite being passionate, allows him to reach a composite balance thanks to which the images that arise belong to a quiet world, characterized by right chromatic harmonies. (Prof. Gianni D’Addio).
